Prof. Dr. Huma Baqai

Prof. Dr. Huma Baqai is a highly distinguished Pakistani academic, author, international relations expert, and strategic policy advisor with over three decades of leadership in higher education, public policy, and national governance.

She currently serves as the Rector of the Millennium Institute of Technology and Entrepreneurship (MiTE) in Karachi. Prior to this, she was the Associate Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration and Associate Professor of Social Sciences and Liberal Arts at the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi.

Dr. Baqai holds a PhD in International Relations from the University of Karachi. She is a widely respected political analyst and media commentator, frequently contributing to national and international dialogue on South Asian politics, governance, and conflict resolution.

Throughout her career, she has held numerous prestigious board and advisory positions. She serves as the Senior Vice Chairperson of the Karachi Council for Foreign Relations (KCFR), is a member of the Senate at the National Defence University (NDU), and has served on the Advisory Council on Foreign Affairs for the Government of Pakistan.
